Privacy

TryRust has no accounts and sets no cookies.

Stored in your browser

Your lesson progress, the code you write, and your theme preference are saved in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. They never leave your device unless you press Run. Clearing your site data removes them.

Running code

When you press Run, the code in the editor is sent to the Rust Playground, run by the Rust project, which compiles it and returns the output. Don't put secrets in your code.

Analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
